One of my husband's favorite places to eat when we are in Westport! We spent a long weekend staying here and I kid you not, he came down for a Skipper burger every day. Alas, they were out of deep, fried mushrooms this weekend.  Oh well, we are here four or five times a year and this is the first time they haven't had any.

We still haven't figured out how the "G.I.Joe and Star War's toys fit into the whole Hearty Galley/Pirate theme but we are the food not the toys. They still have a couple of the totem poles/chain saw carvings out front from when it was the Totem Drive Inn. I do miss the "carport" covered tables outside, even though it tended to be chilly to sit under there it was a dry place to eat when all the seats were taken inside and you didn't have to worry about the local seagulls landing or pooping on the tables while you ate. On the upside without the carport you can easily tell when they are open/closed at a glance now.

Their ice cream is good and they have different flavors than the other two places in the Marina have. They  also have the biggest sundae's in town!!

Word to the anyone who hasn't been here before - the "Mr. T" burger can be split between two people quite easily.

Three of us dined here today and am very disappointed.  This used to be a great place to go. 2 fish sandwiches and a shrimp basket was $35. No drinks and no fries with the sandwiches.  Counter person didn't even ask if we wanted any fries.  The sandwich was so heavy with grease it was horrible.  The fries from the shrimp tasted like grease and the shrimp were rubber.  Hardly any napkins. A second person took the money and a third person gave us the food.  After the wait this is not a place to go back to.

Had the best hamburger here tonight!  The special made with ground sirloin with bacon ground in. It was pretty deserted so it is hard to judge what service would be on a normal night but the girl behind the counter was friendly and took good care is us. Had to have some ice cream before we left and the only downside was the waffle come was stale. With the quality of the burger they really should replace the frozen fries with the real thing. Then I think I would have to eat hamburgers every night.

Fantastic and very fresh fish and chips. Rich and wonderfully savory chowder. Huge and perfect bacon cheeseburger. Shakes were made with real Ice cream and fruit. The Service was helpful and very nice. You pay a little more here but it is totally worth it. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.

This is a place that will take you back to the Good Old Days. When Burger Shacks were all the rage. The Food is Awesome. You may want to take a break from that Diet. This is the place of Yummy Ville. The shakes are the best. You also can get superhero comic glasses and Marvel stuff. A must see if your in Westport, Washington.
